Eve!
In Japan, I feel like Christmas Eve is more Christmasy and more fun, but it seems like a normal day just before Christmas in Canada.
We went for breakfast at a diner this morning. It was very American.
Elvis, Marilyn Monroh and Betty Boos were everywhere. My host dad
ordered me a "normal" breakfast. That is...eggs Benedict with fried potatos! It looked oily and heavy. It WAS heavy!!!!! The sauce on the eggs on the muffins was cheesy and mayonnaisy. The muffin sucked up the sauce and tasted soooooooooo good! I finished everything on the plate and I felt full stillin the afternoon too. hehe
After the late breakfast, my host mom drove me downtown and dropped me off. I wandered around for 4 hours while window shopping. In the late afternoon, my host parents and sister picked me up and we went to Enid's house.
There, I held her for the first time. She moved and said something in my arms. So warm and so fragile. After dinner, we watched Sex And The City together. It was not a family movie, but you know what??? hehe I understood almost all the conversations! That made me proud :) I think I am good at romantic comedies :)
