でっかいテスト終わったどーーーー
次のテストは三日後、勉強する時間たくさんあるやーん
今は4年生用のゼミみたいなコースのための論文書いてます
40ページも書いちゃったぜ
題は「宇治とカムループスの都市周辺における考察」
頭良さそう？？(笑)宇治で生まれ育ったうちにとって、宇治って田舎に位置づけられるような場所やと思ってた
でも、カムループスに来て、思ったのは、「カラッカラやーん
」ほんま乾燥肌のうちには大敵のこの天候。。。クリーム何ぼあっても足りんぞ
しかも見渡す限り半砂漠
山は乾燥による火事で緑は少ないし、あたしが抱いてたカナダのイメージ→野生動物と緑あふれる大地はどこにも。。。いや、広いは広いけど
交通の便やって全然ちゃう
こっちでは車がないとどこにも行かれへんし
結構違いの多い二都市ですが、状況の違いや両都市がどのように形成されてきたのかを比べる論文を書いておるのです

I am very, very happy now. The two big exams are over, and now I am waiting for the next exam which comes in 3 days. I am working on a essay which has
40 pages for the fourth year directed study, but I like writing. It is not a big deal for me ;)
I am writing about the rural-urban fringe of Uji and Kamloops. I grew up in Uji, Japan. Uji is recognized as countryside in Japan. When I came to Kamloops on the 23rd of April, my first impression was dryness. I have to put cream on my skin to moisturize all the time. I was surprised at the summy desert landscape. The airport is surrounded by dry mountains. I was looking down from the airplane and seeing houses which are very short and big. Even though Uji is considered to be a rural city, there are still many tall buildings and high-desnity houses. The roads are narrow and it is difficult for two cars to pass, sometimes even too narrow for
two bikers to pass. Transportation is very different, too. The transportation is very convenient in Uji. They take you to metropolitan areas in 30 minutes. In Kamloops, it is hard to get out of the area you live in unless you have a car. I am comparing these two totally different landscape of the cities which have different conditions, and am analyzing the formation of those cities.

こんだけ頭使いまくってると肩に来る来る
日頃の運動が大切よね・・・運動量ほぼゼロやし
ゼエゼエ 明日プールにでもいかなあかんかな～
今日のランチは名づけて「ラップトップバイバイラップ」・・・はい、ネーミングセンスゼロ
玉ねぎとトマト、パプリカをオリーブオイルで炒めてフェタチーズ投入
それととろけるチーズをトルティーヤの皮で包んだら出来上がり
学校の電子レンジでチンしたら学校にいながらにしてあったかいランチが食べれるのさああああ
頭良さそう？
そして、イタリアンガイとお茶しました
一緒にクラスとか取った事ないけど、何でかよお顔合わせてる内に数週間前からかなりの仲良しになってしまって、でも今週末帰っちゃわはるねん
せっかく結構仲良くなれたのに・・・残念ねー
今の季節って別れの季節。。。留学生は結構母国に帰っちゃう
あたしももうすぐ帰るけど、今は見送る立場
結構辛いな～
別れの数だけ出会いはあるんやけどね
I had lunch outside even though it was freaking cold today for a break. I need some time to move around. These days, I have had big knots on both shoulders. I think it came from sitting all day, studying and using my eyes too much...plus a lack of exersice. I think I am going to a pool tomorrow, if possible. Ok, today's lunch is Cheesy Onion Tomato Wrap! Stir chopped onion, peppers and tomato with olive oil for a while and put feta cheese. Wrap the mixture with a tortilla wrap with mozzarella cheese (any cheese is fine). Microwave the wrap for 1.5-2 minutes at school, then you can eat warm food even though all the restaurant and cafeteria are closed for winter vacation! Easy and cheesy! Yay yay! Please try~~
I arranged to meet this guy from Italy. We didn't take any classes together, but he and I often met at school or on the bus by chance, and started talking a few weeks ago. We had coffee today because he is leaving for Italy this Friday! He has been to Japan and likes it. That might be why I feel so connected to him and didn't hesitate to talk to him. It is a shame about him leaving...now is the season of goodbyes. Many international students are going back home. I am going back home in 2 months, so I will also be one to whom people say goodbye, but it is very sad when I am on this side. I hope to see him again...in Italy, Japan or maybe in Canada again...haha. Who knows?
