1 week until spring break!
Which means 1 week until I go on a trip to New York & Boston!
So far it sounds like it'll be a trip totally centered around food.. but I'm sure there will be other fun things. (I just have to plan....)

I'm in Miami right now, missing a day of classes. But it's for a good reason! Yesterday was my interview for the JET program. ....How did it go...? Pretty well, I hope, but I'll find out for sure in early April...
At the very least, I can say that I don't have to worry about it from now on.

Rose Black Milk tea (soy): ★★★ (It's good, but it'd be better with regular milk)
バラのミルクティー（紅茶とソイミルク＋バラ味のシロップ）： ★★★ （おいしいけど、普通の牛乳だったらもっとおいしいかも）
Rose Green tea latte: ★★ (Too sweet)
バラの抹茶ラッテ （抹茶ラッテパウダー＋バラ味のシロップ）： ★★ （甘すぎる）
Rose coffee (soy): ★★★★ (If I saw it at a cafe, I'd totally order it)

I'm currently in the process of cleaning my apartment, because if I don't, my roommates won't. I like to think that it's not their "laziness" that prevents them from cleaning, and that they just don't think it's dirty enough to clean, yet. Anyways, it's dirty enough for me.
今はアパートを掃除しているところです！
...だって、ルームメートたちは絶対掃除しないから...
毎週掃除したり、ごみを出すのは私だけですね。でも、ルームメートが単なるなまけものなんだというわけじゃないと信じたいです。ただ、ここがそんなに汚くないと思っていると信じたいです。
とにかく、私にとって、もう十分汚かったです。
The rest of the day...? I'll do some reading and homework for class, and try running. Maybe it's because it's so chilly out, but my motivation to run has been nonexistent.
これからは...? 授業のために読んだり宿題したりして
、走ってみます。そとが寒いせいか、やる気がまるで起こらないんです。
OH YEAH. I bought Rose-flavored syrup! More on that, later.

をインド料理店で買いました。後で知らせます！

...だって、ルームメートたちは絶対掃除しないから...

をインド料理店で買いました。後で知らせます！ Today I went to meet with my language partner, as usual.
今日は相変わらずに友達と会いに行きました。
But... the cafe was so busy, she couldn't find parking nearby, and she parked in that plaza on University Ave.
でも。
カフェは忙しくて駐車場が空いてなかったので、彼女は隣の店の駐車場にとまりました。
５分後、車に戻ったとき、レッカーがもう来たと知りました。そう、車がなくなっていました。
Of course, she was towed, immediately. After all, this is Gainesville we're talking about. She had only left the plaza for 5 minutes, but tell that to the 200 pound tow-truck drivers. So, we had to call up her friend to pick us up and take us downtown to the towing company to pay $75 dollars to get her car back.
幸いに、彼女の知り合いがそのへんにいたから、早く電話して、ダウンタウンにあるレッカー会社まで送ってもらいました。（車を返してもらうのは＄７５かかりましたけど...)
Anyways, after all that was cleared up, we chatted in Maude's cafe and she loaned me some Japanese books to use for my final translation project. 
(And for reading practice!)
とにかく、その後、私達違うカフェでしゃべったりして、彼女が日本の本や漫画を貸してくれました。
翻訳の授業のファイナルプロジェクトとして、百田尚樹より、「輝く夜」という本にある話を翻訳してみます！
One of them is a collection of short stories about Christmas??? So I'll translate a few of them for class. Hurray!
