Place: Enoshima Yacht Harbor, Kanagawa, Japan
Naya, Kanoko and Go went to Enoshima Yacht Habor this week to participate in Norway Friendship Yacht Race. Enoshima Yacht Harbor is the schedule of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games sailing competition. It is a beautiful place where you can see Mt. Fuji in the distance.
Day 1st (15 April)
On first day morning, it was windy day. The other yacht class was canceld due to be strong wind and wave. In optimist class, they waited to departur to the sea. But the race comittee decided to cancel the first day race at a.m.
Naya, Kanako's family and Go's family decided to go to Kamakura where is a typical historic tourist destination by train "ENO-DEN".
"ENO-DEN" is an old train. However, you can enjoy a lot of scenery, such as narrow residential areas, roads, coastal areas, tunnels and so on. Therefore, I think that there are many fans.
Our destination was the Great Buddha of Kamakura in Kotoku-in.
We were lucky to see both Big Buddha and Sakura there.
Day 2nd (16 April)
It was fine since morning. We towed by boat to the race area.
A small Mt. Fuji can be seen in the distance. You understand?
There were three races.
A state at the start.
It is hard to understand in the photograph, but the height of the waves was about 1.5 m.
Overall results are as follows.
