Brendon Gibbens and Matt Bromley, both of Cape Town, impressed the judges to take out the two prizes in the Red Bull Expression Session. Gibbens was awarded R2 000 for a radical aerial maneuver while Bromley won R2 000 for the best waves ridden in the 20 minute heat.“The final day of event was really good, the waves turned on and the weather was great. The juniors were surfing so well and Beyrick de Vries’s performance in the last heat of the day just finished it off so nicely. We cant wait for next year’s event,” said a pleased Dane Patterson of Quiksilver.
