昨日は、井脇幸江さん率いるIBC(Iwaki Ballet Company)のバレエ公演を見に行ってきました。
私自身はバレエに疎いのですが、私の師匠はバレリーナ専門気功整体を看板に掲げていらっしゃいますし、私の周囲にもバレリーナさんたちが多く、ここ数年はちょっぴり近しい世界です。
そして今回のガラ公演！
（ガラとは、様々なスターダンサーが登場して、パ・ド・ドゥや小品を披露するコンサート形式の公演のことなんですって。そんなことも比較的最近知りました）
ど素人の私から見ても、ため息と興奮の連続。
刺激的なステージでした。
とはいえ…
じつは、開演直前、「スマホの電源切らなきゃ！」と思ってバッグを探ったら…「ん？ ない！？」となってですね・・・いや、気のせいじゃなく本当にないっ！
大パニックのまま幕が上がり・・・
最初は、ソワソワゾワゾワして、席の上のお尻がモゾモゾするような落ち着かなさ。
いや、ここでゾワゾワしてたって仕方ないんだし、まずは舞台に集中しよう…と思いながらも、悪い方へ悪い方へと思考が向かっちゃって。
でも、です。
皇帝心仙人さんがステージに登場した時…
意識がぶっ飛びました。

皇帝心仙人さんって、ご存知？
クラシックバレエの公演でこの方は、きっと異色のキャスティング。
正直、ちょっとびっくりです。
でも、そこを「いいものはいい！」「すごい人は紹介したい！」と、オファーしちゃうところが、井脇さんのカッコイイところなんだと思います。
彼が白い衣装に身を包んで舞台に登場した途端、空間を占める空気の密度が変わりました。
筋肉ひとつひとつが細やかに移動する（ど根性ガエルのヒロシのTシャツを思い浮かべるのは私だけじゃないと思います…笑）。
その動きそのものの凄みはもちろんなのですが、それだけでない、圧倒感。
場をつかみ、場を支配するこの感覚…！
ウォーーーー！！！
ググッと舞台に引きずり込まれました。
その後も…
井脇幸江さんの瀕死の白鳥は、哀しくて切なくて涙が出るほどだったし、シェラザード（千一夜物語）は、その妖しさに巻き込まれていくような感覚。
ときめきって体感を、久しぶりに味わった。

下村由理恵さんのぎゅっと体の中心から跳ね上がるような弾力のある踊りにも心を鷲掴みにされました。

なんというのかなあ、予想を良い方に裏切ってくれる自由な動き。
チャーミングにして力強く、そして華麗。
50代と聞くと、きっと誰もが目を疑うはず。
米沢唯さんと芳賀望さんの「パキータ」は華やかで、「ああ、バレエを堪能した！」という満足感たっぷり。

照明や舞台構成も細やかで、気持ちを高めてくれるものでした。
すごいすごいすごい！
私がバレエやダンサーについて語ることなんてもちろんできませんが…
ステージに立つお一人お一人が発する「何か」。
ステージを覆い、包み込み、さらにまだ広がっていく「何か」が、そこにいる何百人と云う人を巻き込んで、その人たちの心の中まで変えてしまう感覚に身震いしました。
ちなみに、その後、スマホも無事であることがわかりまして・・・

佳き日となりました！
ああ、もう本当に楽しかった！
