1877年の今日、北大学農学部の基礎を築いた教頭・クラーク博士が、「Boys，be ambitious.」という有名な言葉を残して北海道を去ったことから、ボーイズビーアンビシャスデー！
実は、Boys，be ambitiousには続きがあったそうだ。
