息子（小１）は今月頭に英検5級を受験しました。
My son took the 5th grade of Eiken earlier this month.
息子も娘も日本生まれ、日本育ち。
Both my son and daughter were born and raised
in Japan.
ただ、私も夫も海外転勤の多い職場で働いていた為、
But, the company my husband and I used to work for
had many opportunities to be transferred overseas.
子どもたちにも将来英語力は必要と考え、
おうち英語を始めました。
So, we decided to start Ouchi English to let my
children learn English.

付いた良い教材だったと思います。
I think World Wide Kids of Benesse was a good
learning tool that helps them improve their
vocabulary and listening skills.

ECC is... hmmm...
KIDS DUOに通い始めてからは、格段に伸びた様に
感じています。
Since they started attending KIDS DUO, I feel like
their English skills has improved a lot.
そして、英検の結果はというと...合格できました！
And the result of Eiken is...he passed!
中学校から英語の勉強を始めた私からすると、
小1で英検５級ってすごいな～と感心するばかりです。
For me who started studying English in junior high
school, I'm really impressed that my son in the first
grade of elementary school could pass the Eiken
Grade 5 test.
