ルカの福音書 8:5-8
「農夫が、種まきをしようと畑に出かけました。種をまいているうちに、ある種は道ばたに落ちて、踏みつけられ、そのうち鳥が来て食べてしまいました。 土の浅い石地に落ちた種もありました。それは芽を出したのですが、水分が足りないので、すぐ枯れてしまいました。 いばらの中に落ちた種もありましたが、いばらがいっしょに生え出て、結局、成長できませんでした。 しかし、中には良い土壌に落ちた種もありました。それはぐんぐん育ち、百倍もの実を結びました。」イエスは話しながら、「聞く耳のある人はよく聞きなさい」と、みんなの注意をうながされました。
“Once there was a man who went out to sow grain. As he scattered the seed in the field, some of it fell along the path, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it up. Some of it fell on rocky ground, and when the plants sprouted, they dried up because the soil had no moisture. Some of the seed fell among thorn bushes, which grew up with the plants and choked them. And some seeds fell in good soil; the plants grew and bore grain, one hundred grains each.” And Jesus concluded, “Listen, then, if you have ears!”

成長し、実を結ぶのは、良く聞く人。聞いたことを受け入れ、実践する人。
伸び悩んだ時、行き詰まった時、良く聞こう。先入観を持たず、柔らかい心で吸収し、糧としよう。
共に成長し続け、実を結ぼう。
