I had the same issues using vista in general but it was most evident when using adobe elements 4.I found a fix in a dell forum(I bought a dell)That by changing the mouse scheme to"None"Resolved the issue.It worked and i'm an running aero in vista.
I have been using studio 10 plus and generally been happy with it although i have my own list of annoyances and bugs.Adobe elements 4 came with my new machine chaussure christian louboutin pas cher so i'm giving it a try.Already i have encountered bugs such as the application suddenly ends.

Eggcellent article.My speed exactly.I have tried pinnacle software and was greatly disappointed by the lack of stability.I can't cope with software that won't keep running for at least 30 minutes without crashing.I believe i was using version 9 and tried it on a couple of systems with the same result.The only program of this type that i have used that was relatively stable was roxio media creator.I think it is also version 9.
I have also tried ulead software,"Phot cd maker"Or something like that.Don't bother;Incredibly unstable.It crashes every 10 minutes or so.I guess it's ok if you save every couple minutes.
My hat's off to you for using pinnacle.I admit i'm in the same position as jimfain, i tried, and tried, and tried to use pinnacle.I was very angry with them Click to enter for creating what appeared to be a mass of bugs disguised as a video editing program.I've switched to a different editor and am no longer an angry user.
My main lesson from this debacle was to require a free trial period before i purchased another editor(Something pinnacle still does not do).

I use vegas(Which is terrific indeed)For my main video editing jobs but for titling, slideshows and compositing you can't beat proshow producer.It's just a terrific piece of software that lets you combine video and still pictures as layers, complete with motion paths and transititions.It's extremely easy and intuitive to use and the most fun i've had with a product like this since scala multimedia all those years ago on the amiga.
Check it out here for a free trial no, i don't work for these guys but i love their software, and the support is responsive(On the rare occasion i needed it).If you do any kind of compositing, the only thing that comes close is adobe's software and that's many times what this costs($69 for Proshow Gold, $249 for the full featured Producer).
