I cooked kim-chi !!
Last week end, I tried to cook kim-chi !!
I was learned how to cook kim-chi by my friend and my house mate helped me to cook it.
Today I tasted it, and I succeed. Just Chinese cabbage became a KIM-CHI !!
Then I inform you how to cook. We need two things to cook.
Firstly we need Chinese cabbage to remove water.
How to remove?
1. cut cabbage to half.
2. wash it
3. sprinkle salt to each sheet of cabbage
4. keep one night: 12 hours
5. wash and remove salt completely
6. keep and dry water for 5 hours
Secondly, we need Yang-nyom <양념>: paste to cook kim-chi
Yang-nyom We need crushed garlic, ginger, shred carrot, red paper, salty shrimp and hot paste. hot paste is a kind of bacteria→too difficult to find out in London and as well as in Japan. So use コチュジャン<고추장>
And, mixed with all. This is Yang-nyom

7. then, spread Yan-nyon<양념> to each sheet of cabbage.
8. keep warm for some days.<about 2days> The date depends on your taste!! This is Kim-chi!!
