The day of "March 11" became a special day for my 6-year-old daughter.
As soon as she came home from her kindergarten, I took her to the sports park near by. It was warm and nice out.
We played tennis, hitting a wall for about 40 minutes. After that I brought down her bike from my car for her to practice riding a bike.
I told her to sit on the saddle and kick the ground with both feet to move forward.
After she did this kicking practice for a half hour, she could move forward balancing well. Then she told me that she would try pedaling.
She pedaled her bike and moved 2 to 3 meters and stopped. She repeated that for a few times.
I advised her to lift her face up and look far. It was little shaky at the beginning but she could pedal her bike going forward.
I was moved by it and she said "a miracle does happen !" with a big smile.
Isn't it great to get to see your child to be able to ride a bike for the first time ?
Good job, Molly!
On the way back home in the car, she said "anyting can be possible if you try hard" and asked me "if I prancice hard, do you think I will be able to speak English ?". I told her "of course you can !".
