　一人の少女がストリート・ミュージシャンにリコーダーで演奏を聴かせる。そのお返しがこれだ。

　始めは彼がコントラバスで少女が吹いたのと同じメロディを繰り返しているが、やがて少しずつ演奏者が増えてゆく。

　やがて合唱も加わって壮大に盛り上がってゆく。

　その音楽は、お馴染のベートーヴェン。九つの交響曲の最後の楽章である。

　ドイツの人々には、いかにもお馴染の名曲。彼らの愛が伝わってくる。ベートーヴェンのメロディがまことに感動的だ。

　一年の締めくくりに、いかにもふさわしい映像。胸を打つ。
