のでウィキペディアで調べました。
載っていませんでした。
登場人物からストーリーを大方に予想したのだけれども
まだよくはわかりません。
でも英語の先生にあらすじを話してあげると約束してしまいました。
もちろん読んでいないことは話しましたが。
そして私の語学レベルで苦肉の策です。以下です。

"1984".
He wanted to write near futures.
The story which centers on a famous japanese cult religious community "Oumu".
Oumu killed a lot of people so that they were regarded as terrorists.
Do you know "the affair of Sarin at subway"?
Sarin is a kind of toxic chemical.
This story 1Q84's main characters are members of community like Oumu.
I think they have abnormal mental problems and
being concerned with cult community.

先生も納得したようでますます来年９月の英語版の発売が待ち遠しいらしいです。
フィリピンの図書館ではもう英語版の１Ｑ８４の予約でいっぱいだそうです。
