Welcome to Gainesville, Florida! This city is warm all year around! I lived here until I was five years old. There were a lot of places to swim such as ponds and lakes. You had to be careful when you were swimming because at the time there were a lot of alligators!!! Gainesville is close to the Flordia Everglades! This is a huge national park which has alligators and lots of other protected wildlife! Things to see; Butterfly Rainforest, Florida Museum of Natural History, Climbing tours, University of Florida, University of Florida Bat House, Nature and wildlife tours, Rockeys Dueling Piano Bar and Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park!
