The British Film Institute released the latest top 100 film list of all time. Every 10 years, the institute gathers together a collection of film directors and critics and asks them to name the greatest film of all time.
発表されたTOP100の映画見たことがあるものはそんなに多くはないですが、強く印象に残っている作品はあります。#5 ウォン・カーワイ監督「花様年華(In the Mood for Love)」、#50 ジェーン・カンピオン監督「ピアノレッスン(The Piano)」、#84 デビッド・リンチ監督「ブルー・ベルベット(Blue Velvet)」。映画監督が選んだ順位の方では、#93アッバス・キアロスタミ監督「桜桃の味(Taste of Cherry)」、#72黒澤明監督「生きる(Ikiru)」、#46スタンリー・キューブリック監督「博士の異常な愛情(Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb)」、#20黒澤明監督「羅生門(Rashomon)」がお気に入りです。
I haven't really seen many of the top 100 films but a few of them impressed me a lot: #5, 50 and 84. From the list of films voted for by 480 directors, #93, 72, 46 and 20 are my all-time favorites.
