I just read though all my old posts in an attempt to motivate myself to write more often. I ended up fixing typos in a lot of them and rewording some. I guess one of my main motivations for starting up this blog was a desire to improve my writing skill. Often times I feel like I have interesting things to write, I just haven't bothered to take the time to develop any talent I may or may not have. Whatever...
I noticed that most of my older posts are all about Japanese music. Well, lately I haven't been listening to much of that, except for Boowy and Mr Children in the car CD player. The most recent stuff coming from my stereo is Rap, Jazz and the occasional Mike Patton related project. I guess I could start putting up my impressions of whatever late 50s/early 60s hardbop album I just listened to but I probably never will.
I really should try making a CDJapan order. The most recent stuff I've listened to is kamikaze, by D'espairsray and ageha, by Mucc. I liked both of them. Kamikaze was a bit cooler than Brilliant. Ageha...I am growing to like it more with each listen but it still seems a little too disjointed at times.
There is plenty of stuff I'd like listen to that is coming out soon. Despair's single in December, Mr Children's new album coming out around the same time, Versailles' most recent album, D's most recent single...maybe, C4's releases, etc. Maybe I'll go order something now...
