V.A. / Folkways: A Vision Shared - A Tribute To Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly(1988)
1988年に制作されたウディ・ガスリーとレッドベリーのトリビュート作品。なんといってもメンツが凄い。当時はU2、ブルース・スプリングスティーン目当てで入手したものだけど、ボブ・ディラン、ジョン・メレンキャンプ、リトル・リチャード、ウィリー・ネルソン、エミルー・ハリス、タジ・マハール、ブライアン・ウィルソン、ピート・シーガー、ドック・ワトソンとずらりと揃っているのです。アメリカのフォークソングとかもあまり聴いたことがなかったので、個人的には入門盤的な意味合いもあったものだ。ほんと、久々聴いてるけど、とってもイイね。
