1970年6月から7月にかけて行われたアメリカ・ツアーからベスト・テイクを収めたライヴ・アルバム。ニューヨーク、ロサンゼルス、シカゴの公演からセレクトしています。CD化された際に、未発表曲4曲が追加されたのも嬉しいポイント。デヴィッド・クロスビー視点では、ザ・バーズで録音するもお蔵入りにされた「Triad」や、スタジオ録音されていない「The Lee Shore」が、ライヴ・テイクとはいえ、こうして聴けるのが嬉しい。21曲中4曲という割合は、ちょっと悲しいけど。まぁ、一般的には第4の男だからね。1970年という時代の空気までパックされたような、温かくもヒリヒリとした4人の個性がぶつかり合うライヴ。それぞれがヴォーカルをとると、雰囲気も一変する。つくづく奇跡的なユニットだなぁと思う。
