2003年に77歳で亡くなったイギリスの作曲家ロン・グッドウィンの追悼盤。2003年にデジタル・リマスターされて発売されています。ウルトラクイズ的には「Miss Marple's Theme（ステレオ録音）」ということになります。アガサ・クリスティのポアロじゃないおばあさんの方、ミス・マープルのテーマ・ソングで、ウルトラクイズでは成田行きのバスのシーンで流れていたとのこと。で、北川さんやうぃんちゃんさんのサイトでは「ジョージ・マーティンのボックス物に収録」とありまして、さすがに手が出ず悩んでおりましたが探してみると本作に収録されているではないか！しかも千円ちょっとで2枚組！嬉しい。ジョージ･マーティン収録物での曲目は「Murder She Said（モノラル録音）」、「Murder She Says（ステレオ録音）」となっていますが、演奏自体は同じだったので異名同曲ということになります。ウルトラクイズ使用曲としてはジョージ・マーティン盤ということになりますのでウルトラクイズ使用音源を探されている方は気をつけましょう。アルバム自体は、得意としたミリタリー物の映画音楽や初期のライト・ミュージックなど主要曲中心に53曲が選曲されています。曲によってはラウンジ・ミュージック、モンド・ミュージック的なところもあって飽きない。これまたウルトラクイズを通して良質の音楽に巡り合えた！
