１２月８日。今日は敬愛するJohn lennonの命日。

Johnが亡くなったときの様子は１０月６日のブログに書いた（ニュースはリンク切れです）。犯人のマーク・チャップマンの仮釈放申請が却下されたときのものだ。

最近の世界情勢、Johnが生きていれば何を言ったかな、と空想する。

今年もまたクリスマスの時期になり、JohnのHappy Christmasをよく耳にする。どれほどの人があの曲の副題は「War is over」だと知っているだろう。

【今日の病院】

今日行ってみると、退院するとき恒例の、仲良くなった友だちとの住所交換で忙しくしている。娘が明日退院だとわかっているので、ベッドの周りには友だちだらけで消灯まで大賑わい。みんなそれぞれ病気を抱えて、子供は子供なりの連帯感が生まれるようなのです。

明日、迎えに行きます。（いま会いにゆきます、みたいだな）
