Under the title, it says “changing your sense about the grass that changes your sense.” - I remember that I read this book when I was a junior high student 🏫 Back in the days, I was marked as a rebel student by teachers but was actually just a bookworm. I read some controversial books among lots of other books. Those junior high teachers in 80s in Japan hated me for having the “right” knowledges about marijuana. To end up with, my books were confiscated, I was surrounded and scolded by the teachers for a few hours at the teachers quarters, then I started reading more controversial books! Ha-Ha! Unsentimentally realistic nightmare that I haven’t had for years. - The only reason I can think of is that I read Rampo Edogawa’s short story, Psychological Test (1925). It was a normal detective mystery so I can hardly think that was the cause of my nightmare. - Edogawa, however, was known for abnormal screwed-up David-Lynchified Jacopetti’s-A-Dog’s-Life kind of writer, and I did read some of those. - To counterattack my nightmare, I’m about to read another short story in his abnormal side, The Caterpillar. The title is The Caterpillar but he is not talking about a caterpillar.
