「普通の選手はジャンプを跳ぶ前の助走で氷に深いキズがつけられる。でも、羽生君は助走の跡がほとんどない。降りたところにちょっと残るくらい。穴は大きめだけど、前後のキズが格段に少ない」

When skaters jump, normally, place where they approaching got deep ditches. But in case of Hanyu, there’s no such ditches, but a bit at the landing spot. These ditches are bigger though, numbers are fairly little.”

助走がないものね、結弦君のジャンプには。

ジャンプの前は、ひたすら、美しいターンやステップが続いて・・・・

There's no approach for Yuzu's jumps, but

turns and steps!!!

元全日本４連覇の小川勝氏は「羽生君は力任せに跳ぶのではなく、踏み切りからランディング、降りるまでまでスムーズ。力を抜いて高い質のジャンプを跳ぶってものすごい技術なんですよ」と解説した

Former competitor Mr. Ogawa said “Hanyu doesn’t jump with power, but from the approaching to landing, all go smoothly. Effortless, and quality jumps, he got such amazing techniques.”

だって、翼があるんだもん！

（こらこら、そう言う話じゃないだろ！）

元スケーターじゃなくても、現役スケーターじゃなくても

ど素人のサラにも、どれほどエアリーかは

よ～く感じられる。

でも、あの芸術的なジャンプのために

どれほどの努力を積み重ねてきていることか・・・・・

Oh, that's because Yuzu got wings!

Well, but seriously talking,

even for Sarah, not former competitor, nor skater,

but any one can tell

that Yuzu's jumps are really effortless and ethereal.

However, to obtain such amazing techniques

oh, Yuzu must accumulated

millions of hard practices.

「いろんな選手を見てきたね。現役時代は全くあいさつしなかったのに、プロになって急に愛想を振りまく人もいた。でも羽生君は違いますよ。製氷ですれ違うと必ず僕らにも頭を下げてくれる。なかなかできることじゃないですよ」

“I met so many skaters. There were some who never greeted us when they were competitors, but when they turned to be pro-skaters, some started greeting to us. But Hanyu is different. Whenever we met on the ice, he greets to us. It’s really notable.”
