How many petals does this flower have?
はい、お写真、拡大して花びらを示したけど。
青色の2枚の花びらと、下にちっちゃな白い花びらが1枚。
でね、下のちっちゃな花びらの両側に1枚ずつ白いガク。
ツユクサって、どこか欄に似ていない？
それもそのはず、完璧な左右対称！
完璧主義なのね 😋
In the enlaged photos, you can see two blue petals, and
there's another one but white in the lower part.
Also in the both side of the small white petal, there is a calyx each.
The flower looks like a flower of Orchid?
It must be because this flower is perfectly symmetrical.
でね、お花、なんか不思議じゃない？
お花の中に黄色いお花？？？
And also it looks a bit strange, doesn't it?
See, there're flower-like yellow something in it.
黄色いチビお花は、実は雄しべ。でもね、雄しべなんだけど、花粉がない！
で、その下のくにゅってやつ(Y字）も雄しべ。
で、もやしのようなのが、3本伸びているじゃん。
真ん中が雌しべで、両側は雄しべ。
この雄しべ（O字）がいっちゃん働き者で、花粉を持っているの。
ツユクサって朝しか咲いていないのよね。
午後になるとしおれてきて・・・
咲いている時間が少ないから、何とか虫さんたちを呼び込もうと、
青に黄色で、派手にアピールしているんじゃないかな？
そのために、雄しべの役目を他の子に任せて、ちっちゃなお花に変～身！
なかなか、機転が利く雄しべ君たちじゃない？
でさぁ、雌しべと花粉を持つ雄しべがもやしみたいに伸びているのって
きっと、虫さんが来なくても、風でゆらゆ～らしている間に受粉もできちゃうって魂胆じゃない？
なんて、賢い！
でね、午後になってしおれてくると、もやし（？）がクルクルって巻き込まれて縮むのよ。
その時にも、最後の最後に、縮んでお団子になったら、自家受粉できるわけじゃない。
絶対に受粉させちゃうって執念の子！

The tiny yellow boys are staminodes.
Then there are three white stuffs in the lower part,
the centre one is the pistil, and other two are stamens with pollen.
So although it got 6 stamens but actual workers are only two.
However, others are quite smart.
Since the flower only open for some hours only, within such a short period, it gatta be pollinated, so, to attract insects (many) four tranformed into flower-like.
Then the pistil and two real stamens are so long, it means when wind comes
they can swing easily and swinging, the pistil can self-fertilise.
Moreover, in case it couldn't be pollinated, however, in the afternoon, the flower starts clinkling, while curling down, again it can self-fertilise.
Preparing so well to be pollinated.
Very strong will to do so!!!
