木陰でひっそりと咲いている姿、見覚えがあるのでは？
ちょっと地味な印象もあるけど、ちっちゃな白いお花、可憐で・・・
思わず座り込んで眺めたくならない？

ユキノシタ。まるで真冬のお花のような名前だよね。
初夏に雪の妖精さんが現れて、す～っと涼し気な風をプレゼント。

Not strawberry colour, but white, just wondering why it got the name . . .
そう言えば、仙台のクリスタル王子は、まるで雪の妖精さんのようだったよね。

ユキノシタ、英語では、「ストロベリー・ベゴニア」って呼ばれているの。

Strawberry Begonia is called "Yukinoshita" in Japanese, "Yuki" means snow, although the flowering season is early Summer.

こんなにかわいい妖精さんの姿しているのよ。
あ・・そっかぁ、この花びらがイチゴちゃんに見えるからストロベリー・ベゴニアって呼ぶのかな？

ユキノシタの親類さん。（ユキノシタ科アスチルベ属）
White flowers of Astilbe.
They are also a family of Strawberry Begonia (Saxifragaceae, Astilbe)
お仲間じゃないけど、もう1つ、ちっちゃくて真っ白なかわいい子。
ロクベンシモツケ。
今日は、ちっちゃな純白のお花。
