今年は暑い夏だけど、三島の「熱い」夏は中止になっちゃって
8月の三嶋大社祭り、やっぱりなんだかめちゃめちゃさみしい！
って、ぼやいてもしょうがないので、以前のお写真だけど、
大社のお祭り、サラがいっちゃ～ん好きな・・流鏑馬！
This year it’s so hot but we are missing “heated” Summer this year too,
well, Mishima Grand Shrine’s Summer festival.
Really, missing so bad though, can’t help
Sarah really loves to appreciate Yabusame (a traditional horseback archery)
8月17日に例年行われていて、歴史は平安時代までさかのぼるとか。
Yabusame is held on 17 August, and it has more than 1,000 years history.
もう1つ、サラの大好きな大社のお祭りイベント
手筒花火！
And another exciting event during the festival is
Arm-held fireworks！
三嶋大社のお祭りは毎年、8月15日-17日の3日間。
手筒花火は16日の夜。
Mishima Grand Shrine’s festival has been held from 15 to 17 August.
And the fireworks was an event at night of 16th.
来年は各地のお祭り・・今年の分まで盛大にできますように！
