この空の下・・　　Looking up the Sky

昨日ね、お寿司、持ち帰りで勝ってこようと沼津港に行ったの、でも、そのままUターンして、

夕べはお肉になった。

Yesterday, we wanted to have Sushi, so Sarah drove to Numazu Seaport to buy some for takeaway, but just made a U-turn and came back, and we had beef last night.

大混雑！それも今、静岡県民には出かけないようにって知事要請が出ている地域からの車ばかり駐車場いっぱいに・・・人も、すごくて・・。

All car-parks were full with many cars from many places where we were requested not to go since there have been so many COVID 19 cases.

三島、ちょっと箱根山登ると十石峠、でも十石峠の向こうは神奈川で、もう、権現さん(箱根神社)も、湿生花園も・・ず～っと我慢しているのに、普通～に、はるばる各地から来ていて。

（もちろん、多くの人は、里帰りも我慢しているけど）

密密の人ごみを見ながら、なんか・・・怖くなって、お寿司はあきらめたのよね。

As always Sarah tells, she lives Mishima, and just 10 min. or so drive, then reaching the prefectural boarder, although Sarah really loves to visit the lake, Hakone Shrine or Botanical Garden, but for a half year so far, can’t visit there, but so many people came here closing the boarder. . . . Well, of course, there are many people who cancelled their Summer vacation trips, even visiting their parents in their home town, but looking at crowd of people walking so close each other, felt so scared, so just gave up.

なんだろ、「来ないで！」って言いたくはないけど、でも・・

きっと、お店の人、複雑だろうね。お客さん、もう何か月も激減していて、

休業していた時期もあって、大歓迎したいところだろうけど、でも、やっぱり、

あ～んな人ごみだと、怖いだろうね・・・

と、思いながら、おうち帰って屋上から空眺めてた。

However, we can’t say “don’t come!” and thinking about people who are working there, well, they must have mixed feeling although they want to welcome people since for months they couldn’t have enough guest, even some weeks they closed their business, but they also must feel scared having so many people from the places where many COVID cases have been reported. . . .

Thinking such, Sarah looked up the sky at the roof top of her house.

なんと、昨日は、昼間から、お空の雲が奇麗だったけど、夕方、雲が一斉に

オレンジ色に染まって！

The sky with clouds looked so beautiful yesterday, and in the evening, oh my goodness!

All clouds were tinted orange!!!

そして、昨日も、夕方に、ちょっぴり恥ずかしそうに富士山が！

And yesterday too, Mt. Fuji showed herself shyly!

昨日の夕焼け、ビックリだったのは、お空全部が染まっていたの。

そ！南も、北も、なんと東も！てっぺんも！

What was the special of yesterday’s sky is, not only the West, but all over, the South, North and East, and even the hight above sky, got orange colour!
