Notice and Apology Regarding the Suspension of IOTA Operations in the Danjo Islands
To All Concerned Parties
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
We had planned an IOTA operation from the Danjyo Islands (AS-056),
but due to anticipated severe weather conditions such as strong winds
and heavy rain, the fishing vessel we planned to use has been forced to cancel its operations.
Therefore, we regret to inform you that we have had to cancel this operation.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the operation,
and to everyone who has provided support and cooperation.
We ask for your understanding that this decision was made with safety as our top priority.
Japan has entered the rainy season, making the resumption of operations extremely difficult,
but we will strive to resume operations as soon as possible.
We would appreciate your continued support when operations resume.
We are planning a trip to the Danjo Islands next year
(the exact date is yet to be determined).
We deeply appreciate your support and encouragement.

男女群島（AS-056）におけるIOTA運用を予定しておりましたが、
強風や豪雨などの悪天候が予想されるため、
使用予定の漁船が運用を中止せざるを得なくなりました。
そのため、誠に残念ながら、運用を中止せざるを得ないことをお知らせいたします。
運用を楽しみにされていた皆様、そしてこれまでご支援とご協力をいただいた皆様に、
心よりお詫び申し上げます。
今回の決定は、安全を最優先に考えた結果であることをご理解いただけますようお願い申し上げます。
日本は梅雨に入り、運用再開は極めて困難な状況ですが、
できる限り早期の再開を目指して努力してまいります。
運用再開の際には、引き続きご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
来年、男女群島行きを計画しています。

IOTA: AS-056 Danjo Islands Pedi. INFO
The Danjo Islands are uninhabited islands with no regular ferry service (approximately 4 hours by boat from mainland Kyushu).
The Danjo Islands seem to be a sacred place for fishing enthusiasts, as many large fish can be caught there.
JI3DST/Take and I will be going to these islands with the following plan in order to communicate with as many IOTA chasers as possible.
The IOTA credit rate is 22.9%, the second lowest among IOTA locations in Japan, after the Senkaku Islands (0.0%).
From the planned landing point to a suitable tent location, we will need to carry our equipment up rocky terrain using a backpack.
We also plan to bring lightweight and compact equipment in case we need to retreat immediately due to a sudden change in weather.
Currently, we plan to use a battery for power, a wire dipole antenna for HF, and a 2-element delta loop antenna for 6m.
We hope to work with you from the Danjo Islands.

IOTA: AS-056 男女群島 ペディ。情報
男女群島は無人島で、定期フェリーは運航していません（九州本土から船で約4時間）。
男女群島は、大型魚が数多く釣れることから、釣り愛好家にとって聖地のような場所のようです。
JI3DST/Takeと私は、できるだけ多くのIOTAチェイサーと交信するため、以下の計画で男女群島へ行きます。
IOTAクレジット率は22.9%で、尖閣諸島（0.0%）に次いで日本国内のIOTAスポットで2番目に低い値です。
予定の着陸地点から適切なテント設営場所までは、バックパックを使って岩場を登り、装備を運搬する必要があります。
また、天候の急変で即座に撤退する必要が生じた場合に備え、軽量でコンパクトな装備を持参する予定です。
現在、電源にはバッテリー、HF帯にはワイヤーダイポールアンテナ、6m帯には2エレメントデルタループアンテナを使用する予定です。
男女群島から交信できることを楽しみにしています。
