| 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying, 神はこれらすべての言葉を告げられた。 |
| 20:2 I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 「わたしは主、あなたの神、 あなたをエジプトの国、 奴隷の家から導き出した神である。 |
| 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. あなたには、わたしをおいてほかに神があってはならない。 |
| 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing]that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: あなたはいかなる像も造ってはならない。 上は天にあり、下は地にあり、 また地の下の水の中にある、 いかなるものの形も造ってはならない。 |
| 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; あなたはそれらに向かってひれ伏したり、 それらに仕えたりしてはならない。 わたしは主、あなたの神。 わたしは熱情の神である。 わたしを否む者には、父祖の罪を子孫に三代、 四代までも問うが、 |
| 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. わたしを愛し、わたしの戒めを守る者には、 幾千代にも及ぶ慈しみを与える。 |
| 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. あなたの神、主の名をみだりに唱えてはならない。 みだりにその名を唱える者を主は罰せずにはおかれない。 |
| 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 安息日を心に留め、これを聖別せよ。 |
| 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 六日の間働いて、何であれあなたの仕事をし、 |
| 20:10 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God;[in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: 七日目は、あなたの神、主の安息日であるから、 いかなる仕事もしてはならない。 あなたも、息子も、娘も、 男女の奴隷も、家畜も、 あなたの町の門の中に寄留する人々も同様である。 |
| 20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day; wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 六日の間に主は天と地と海と そこにあるすべてのものを造り、 七日目に休まれたから、 主は安息日を祝福して聖別されたのである。 |
| 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother; that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. あなたの父母を敬え。 そうすればあなたは、あなたの神、 主が与えられる土地に長く生きることができる。 |
| 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. 殺してはならない。 |
| 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 姦淫してはならない。 |
| 20:15 Thou shalt not steal. 盗んではならない。 |
| 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 隣人に関して 偽証してはならない。 |
| 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's. 隣人の家を欲してはならない。 隣人の妻、 男女の奴隷、 牛、ろばなど 隣人のものを一切欲してはならない。」 |
| 20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw [it], they removed, and stood afar off. 民全員は、雷鳴がとどろき、 稲妻が光り、 角笛の音が鳴り響いて、 山が煙に包まれる有様を見た。 民は見て恐れ、遠く離れて立ち、 |
| 20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die. モーセに言った。 「あなたがわたしたちに語ってください。 わたしたちは聞きます。 神がわたしたちにお語りにならないようにしてください。 そうでないと、わたしたちは死んでしまいます。」 |
| 20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not; for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. モーセは民に答えた。 「恐れることはない。 神が来られたのは、あなたたちを試すためであり、 また、あなたたちの前に神を畏れる畏れをおいて、 罪を犯させないようにするためである。」 |
| 20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God [was]. 民は遠く離れて立ち、 モーセだけが 神のおられる密雲に近づいて行った。 |
| 20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. 主はモーセに言われた。 イスラエルの人々にこう言いなさい。 あなたたちは、わたしが天からあなたたちと語るのを見た。 |
| 20:23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. あなたたちはわたしについて、 何も造ってはならない。 銀の神々も金の神々も造ってはならない。 |
| 20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen; in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. あなたは、わたしのために土の祭壇を造り、 焼き尽くす献げ物、 和解の献げ物、羊、 牛をその上にささげなさい。 わたしの名の唱えられるすべての場所において、 わたしはあなたに臨み、 あなたを祝福する。 |
| 20:25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. しかし、もしわたしのために石の祭壇を造るなら、 |
| 20:26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. あなたは、階段を用いて祭壇に登ってはならない。 あなたの隠し所があらわにならないためである。 Hallelujah🙌アアメン🙏🙇♀️
