エジプトで、ただで魚を食べていたことを思い出す。🐟

きゅうりも、すいか、にら、たまねぎ、にんにくも。🥒🍉🧅🧄🥬

Behold, the Assyrian [was] a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, 

and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; 

and his top was among the thick boughs.
見よ。アッシリヤはレバノンの杉。
美しい枝、茂った木陰、そのたけは高く、
そのこずえは雲の中にある。
The waters made him great, 

the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
水がそれを育て、地下水がこれを高くした。
川々は、その植わっている地の回りを流れ、
その流れを野のすべての木に送った。
Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, 

and his boughs were multiplied, 

and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, 

when he shot forth.
それで、そのたけは、野のすべての木よりも高くそびえ、
その送り出す豊かな水によって、
その小枝は茂り、その大枝は伸びた。

Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, 

and his boughs were multiplied, 

and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, 

when he shot forth.

それで、そのたけは、野のすべての木よりも高くそびえ、

その送り出す豊かな水によって、

その小枝は茂り、その大枝は伸びた。

All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, 

and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

その小枝には空のあらゆる鳥が巣を作り、

大枝の下では野のすべての獣が子を産み、

その木陰には多くの国々がみな住んだ。

Thus was he fair in his greatness, 

in the length of his branches;

for his root was by great waters.

それは大きくなり、

枝も伸びて美しかった。

その根を豊かな水におろしていたからだ。

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him;

the fir trees were not like his boughs, 

and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; 

nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

神の園の杉の木も、これとは比べ物にならない。

もみの木も、この小枝とさえ比べられない。

すずかけの木も、この大枝のようではなく、

神の園にあるどの木も、その美しさにはかなわない。

I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches;

so that all the trees of Eden, 

that [were] in the garden of God, envied him.

わたしが、その枝を茂らせ、美しく仕立てたので、

神の園にある

エデンのすべての木々は、これをうらやんだ。

創世記1:11-12　
神は言われた。
「地は草を芽生えさせよ。種を持つ草と、
   それぞれの種を持つ実をつける果樹を、地に芽生えさせよ。」
そのようになった。

地は草を芽生えさせ、それぞれの種を持つ草と、

それぞれの種を持つ実をつける木を芽生えさせた。

神はこれを見て、良しとされた。

For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, 

a land of brooks of water, 

of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

あなたの神、主はあなたを良い土地に導き入れようとしておられる。それは、平野にも山にも川が流れ、

泉が湧き、地下水が溢れる土地、

A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, 

and pomegranates; 

a land of oil olive, and honey;

小麦、大麦、ぶどう、いちじく、

ざくろが実る土地、

オリーブの木と蜜のある土地である。

啓示録

あなたの神、主はあなたを良い土地に導き入れようとしておられる。それは、平野にも山にも川が流れ、泉が湧き、地下水が溢れる土地、

都の大通りの中央を流れている。

その川のこちら側にも向こう側にも命の木があって、

十二の実を結び、その実は毎月みのり、

その木の葉は諸国民のいやしのためにある。
