銀行をやめて、first day at Law firm here in New York City!
I have been here almost 14 years now.. well going back and forth between the US and Japan past 15 years since I was 19 years old. This is the first American company that I work for. Super exctied.
A few weeks ago I got a job as Legal Practice Assiatant in New York City. So I gave my previous work (one of the Japanese banks here in ny) two weeks notice and today was my first day at law firm.
I have decided to write a blog of my journey here in NY although I have been here for a very long time. My love and work life seem very interesting to many friends in Japan. Up-and-down of my life here in New York City like Sex and the city (well, not that glamorous..) but I want to show my world as regular girl here in ny.
OK, here is my info: I went to Kobe College 神戸女学院 in Japan 2003-2005 and went to Rockford University 2005-2007. Graduated from Kobe college in 2008. Came back to Rockford. Became a flight attendant here for 4 month but got laid off bue to financial crisis here in the US 2008-2009. Went back to Japan 2009. I worked in Japan 2009-2014. Then back here in NY again for banking job (2014-2018) >> now American law firm (Nov 2018- present) Yes, normal Japnaese girl working in ny.
