ハロウィン目前ですね🎃
本当はまた企画的にアップしようかとも思ったのですが、自分の体力的にも時間的にも余裕がないので、取り敢えずハロウィンに因んでの曲をアップしていきたいと思います。
今年はお家でハロウィンとか、リモート・トリック・オア・トリートとか、そんな感じで何か楽しめると良いですねぇ。…と言いつつ、うちでは安定の全く何もしない派です。
さて今日の曲は、2009年のスキレットのヒット曲『Monster』です。

スキレット （Skillet）は、アメリカはテネシー州メンフィスで結成されたクリスチャン・メタルバンド。
メンバー入れ替えを経て現在は、男女2人ずつの4人組で、ボーカルのジョン・クーパーとキーボードのコーリィ・クーパーは夫婦、ドラムはジョン・レッジャー、リードギターはセス・モリソン。
弦楽器、ピアノなどを巧みに取り入れ、サウンドは極めて重厚かつ煌びやか。曲によっては女性がコーラスを担当しており、独特なサウンドを奏でている
現在までフルアルバム9枚をリリースしている。

まるっきり知らないバンドでしたが、もう一年以上前に、上の子から教えられ知った曲です。ロックでカッコいいし、聴きやすく口ずさみやすいメロディというところが好きになりました。
皆でサビの「アイ！アイ！フィーライカ、モンスター！」と叫びたい😁 ライブ楽しいだろうなぁ。
バンドのフロントマンであるボーカルのジョン・クーパーのインタビューによると、この曲は、2008年のエドワート・ノートン主演の映画「インクレディブル・ハルク」に触発され制作したとのこと。
顔に偽物を張り付けているような人々のことを歌ったもので、神学的な意味では原罪についての歌だとのこと。
人間に生まれついた限り、望んでいなくとも人間は罪を背負っているもので、罪深い性質であることを歌ったものなのだそう。

そして、ぜーんぜん関係ないんですが、最後に載せるのは、「あつまれどうぶつの森」の笑えちゃう実況動画をピックアップして和訳して動画にしてくださったもの。
お勧めに何回も出てくるから（きっと下の子の視聴履歴からかな）観てみたら大爆笑してしまい、チャンネル登録しちゃった、って言う……
