Jimi Hendrix の Official Site を立ち上げた人物は
Jimi の左側にいる女の子。
Jimi の父親 Al Hendrix の後妻の連れ子なので血縁関係は無いが
その女の子 Janie Hendrix。
実は、日本人とのハーフなんです。
母親の名前は、Fujita Ayako。
生前、Jimi は、ハワイのマウイ島のライヴの後に
日本公演の予定があったらしい。
その時に、「自分の母親の国に行くんだ・」と言っていたようだ。
その夢、叶わなかったね。
この女の子が、その後に Jimi が残した音源の著作権の管理を一本化すべく立ち上げたのが
どれだけ、弁護士に金を払ったことだろう。
想像もできない。
