Okay,literally,i see most of my primary school band mates and instructors.
Not forgetting my one and only Miss Dorean Tan with Mr Er and peeps.
The thing is,i was surprised to see Colin Ng taking Teck Whye band.
COOL!
They chose the right choice piece,yet,results aren't that good.
It's because of the set piece.
Seriously,the set piece is really a disaster for most bands.
Alright...moving on.
Commonwealth band impressed me!
They were the first band to play 'Safari'.
I really like it,and their choice piece was 'Jericho'.
Great.
They had the feeling there.
CHIJ Toa Payoh band was great too.
Everyone's feeling the music.
That's what i like.
The whole band was moving,even during rest bars.
This shows how much enthusiasm they have for music.
I really like it.
However,i think first day,they set the standard higher,so the results weren't what we expected.
Especially for bands like Commonwealth and Yuhua.
It's shocking indeed,but...oh well...
I hope that Yuan Ching band can do well.
