What’s up all the Japanese hip-hop lovers!

today I’m glad to talk about the rappers in Tokyo.

there are many famous and good rappers in this area.

as a Tokyo resident I listen to many of them.

first thing first let’s talk about zeebra.

he is the most influential rapper in Tokyo from Japan.

he is the host of the TV program show "freestyle teacher" he released many good albumand showed up on many TV programs.

he is the represent of the Japanese hip-hop scene.

His track has become the theme song for Beat Takeshi's movie.

next is K dub shine.

he is from Shibuya Tokyo.

his lyric is very political and he is the member of the king gidra, a group consists of zeebra and DJ oasis.

This was the theme song for the movie "kyoki no sakura" main acted by kubozuka.

then here comes Zorn. He is a father of two children and collaborates with the blue Herb, macho, and many other artists.

he did live with the blue herb at the liquid room in Ebisu. he is from Shin Koiwa in Tokyo.

then another group is called rappagariya. they are a group consists of Q and yamadaman. yamadaman is from nakano Tokyo.

they released  many albums and also did a collaboration with KJ from dragon ash.

he was a member of Total music communication. their rhyming is very tight and the tracks are very hard-core. oh I forgot to mention but there is one DJ toshi in this group as well.

RIP SLYME is another group from Tokyo. it’s a very pop taste group and it consists of four emcees and one DJ.

Lately I went to talk about a very famous and traditional hip-hop artists of Japan but from the next episode I’m going to talk about younger artists which I am not that familiar as the previous ones. however the tracks are very new such as Trap and they are becoming more and more influential in this scene.
