We traveled to Hokkaido by car for 10 days
to get away from the summer heat.
The driving distance was 3,600km.
During the trip, we met a lovely lady
of a ryokan in Matsushima (まつしま香村),
a friendly man at a gas station in Hakodate (ENEOSオカモト),
and a skilled chef at a sushi restaurant in Otaru (寿司処わさび、南樽市場)...
We met people full of warmth and humanity.
It was a pleasant memory.
