カーリーがローリーに結婚を申し込んでから三週間後、二人は人々に祝福されて結婚式をを行います。
それまで準州であったオクラホマが近々州に昇格することも決まり、人々はその喜びも込めて
「オクラホマ！ Oklahoma!」
を高らかに歌い上げます。正に全編のハイライト、素晴らしい曲です！
この歌は後にオクラホマ州の州歌となり、今も歌い継がれています。
式の最中に行商人のアリ・アキムが新妻のガーティを連れて戻って来ます。
ガーティの父親にショット・ガンで脅されて心ならずもあの馬のような笑い声をたてるガーティと結婚する羽目になったのでした。
そのとき酒に酔ったジャドが現れ、ローリーとカーリーが登っていた干し草の山に火をつけます。
カーリーはなんとかローリーを干し草の山から降ろし、ナイフを構えていたジャドに飛び掛かります。その拍子に、ジャドは自分が持っていたナイフで腹をえぐられ死んでしまいます。
招待客たちはエラー叔母に促され、結婚式場を臨時の裁判所にして裁判を行います。そして、アニーの父で判事であるアンドリュー・カーネスは正当防衛故の「無罪」の判決を下します。
人々の歓呼の声に送られ、カーリーとローリーは「屋根に房飾りのある4輪馬車」に乗って新婚旅行へと出発します。
