寮の門限に間に合わなかったジュリーもバスコム木綿工場をクビになり、ビリーとジュリーは二人とも町から姿を消します。
ジュリーの従姉妹で浜辺の近くでスパを経営しているネティ・フォウラーが、地元の漁師と桟橋で心配そうに消息を絶ったジュリーのことを話しています。
そこへジュリーとビリーがトランクを抱えて現れます。
満面に笑を浮かべて、ジュリーはネティに自分がビリーと結婚したことを報告します。
不安げな表情を浮かべながらも、ネティは二人に祝の言葉を述べて祝福します。
場面は再び天国に戻ります。
星守に新婚生活の様子を説明するビリー。
職を失った二人はジュリーの従姉妹のネティの世話になっていたのですが、ビリーは自分には何もすることが無い生活に耐え切れなくなってきます。
そして２ヶ月が過ぎ華やかな季節６月を迎えます。
人々は浜遊びの楽しさを思い、サマー・パーティーの準備にとりかかり、ビリーとジュリー以外は皆幸せそうな様子で歌い、踊ります。
