Last night, I went out with my coworker Takeru for the first time.
A really cool guy who knows his way around the club.
We talked about the roles of hosts in terms of help and tanto, and how they are important to the whole process.
We are each like a cog in a machine.
Alone, we aren't as useful, but together, we become an essential element that allows the machine to function.
I believe this applies to life as well.
We are just "cogs" of life, but perhaps we are an "essential cog" in someone's life.
Let me be the "cog" to bring you happiness.

彼は僕に仕事を良く教えてくれる素敵な先輩です。
酒を交えながらホストの役割やその役割をヘルプとして・担当としてどう使い分け、いかに使いこなすかについて語りました。
僕たちは一人一人小さな「歯車」の様ですね。
一つでは特に大きな役割はないものの、幾つもの歯車が重なり一つの大きな機械として動いた時、一つ一つの歯車はそこで初めて欠かせない存在となります。
きっと人生においても僕たちは一つの「歯車」に過ぎない。
