There is no denying it replica seiko titanium paypal watches this is probably the most pointless list that has ever been compiled in the history of lists. I have no defense for writing it other than to say I like both lists and the name Joey. The original working title for it was 'The Top Ten Joeys in Pop Culture History' but as I wrote it I realised that "top" was not a word I could in good faith attribute to all the people and characters featured below. And thus I present to you in no particular order Ten Joeys in Pop Culture History.

    ---

    Joey Jeremiah:
I was a child in the '80s and a teen in the '90s. This means that a) I am no stranger to bubble skirts and Stussy pants and; b) I learned everything I know about sex drugs and identical twins from Degrassi Junior High. Thanks to Degrassi I expected to be pregnant by 14 anorexic by 16 and dead by 17. I'll keep you guessing on how that all panned out. Except the dead bit - I'm clearly very much alive. Anyway anyone who grew up watching Degrassi as I did knows that Joey Jeremiah is basically the most awesome television character of all time ever and should be inducted into some sort of awesome television characters hall of fame. Dude wore a badass hat and was in a band called The Zit Remedies (later The Zits) and he dated a girl with streaks in her hair and his best friend was in a wheelchair and his name can be used as an example when teaching kids about alliteration. All hail.

    Joey Tribbiani:
Unfashionable as it might be I like Friends. It may be the whitest television show since Leave it to Beaver but it is funny and easy to watch and (unlike 'The Rachel' haircut) it has dated well. To be honest Joey was never my favourite Friend - an honour bestowed alternately on Ross and Chandler - but he definitely made me LOL on more than one occasion. This Joey is the only Joey in pop culture history to play the titular role in a TV show called Joey and that's quite the coup no matter how eye-gougingly awful that show was. Also his favorite food is sandwiches and I totally feel that.

    'Joey' by Concrete Blonde:
If you don't love this song you have no soul. Released in 1990 by Concrete Blonde the jukebox favourite was written and sung by the band's front woman (and owner of the best name I've ever heard) Johnette Napolitano. According to Wikipedia 'Joey' is about "a man who is in love with alcohol". And if that's not the most poetic description for balls-out alcoholism you've ever heard then I want to know what is. I also want to know what love is but that's an entirely different column.

    Joey Ramone:
Joey Ramone (born Jeffry Ross Hyman) was one of the rockiest rock stars of all rock time. Lead vocalist and songwriter for The Ramones he is widely heralded as one of the most influential figures in rock and roll history to date. Dying too young like only the good do hublot big bang platinum watch Wikipedia calls him a "counterculture icon" and as far as I'm concerned that's pretty much the greatest title any person can achieve. I once had a Ramones T-shirt but I lost it at a music festival so I'm pretty much a counterculture icon myself replica hublot wouldn't you say?

    Joey Fatone:
Joey Fatone was in N*Sync had a supporting role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and hosts The Singing Bee. He's done other stuff too but none of it is particularly worth talking about. He is rumoured to own one of the original KITT cars from Knight Rider but I suspect he started that rumour himself so Justin Timberlake would want to be his friend again.
