GoogleでCLEP Testをserchしてみると、
”The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 34 examinations. Earn credit for knowledge you've acquired through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, or internships.”（Paragraph 1) とある。
実は私、このCLEP TestにChallengeした。見事に、点数が及ばなかったが、、。（次回は６ヶ月後にChallenge出来るけど、、、？）
このTestは、USAのCollege or UniversityのClassに通わずに勉強し、このCLEP Testを受けて、一定の点数を取得するとCollege or UniversityのCredit(単位）を取得出来ます。
現在、３４教科のCLEP Testを受ける事が出来、単位を取得出来る様です。
それ以外の教科は、College or Universityにて勉強したり、Online course, Long distance courseなどで、単位を取得します。
Associate degreeは 60単位。Bachelor degreeは１２０単位（Associate degreeですでに60単位、取得しているので新たに６０単位を勉強します。）
生徒によっては、このCLEP Testにて、単位をある程度、取得し、残りの教科を、学校に通ったりして、取得し、卒業して行きます。
USAは、学ぼうとしている人達に対してとても門戸が広いと思う！そして、年齢に関係なく勉強出来る！
NEVER TOO LATE!!なのである。（Mother in law（義母）は仕事をRetiredしてから、Archaeology (考古学)のClassに出席し、勉強していた。）
１月からの3 Classes の勉強は、私にどんな、人生を与えて下さるのだろうか？ Challengeあるのみ！！
