Migration and Lifecycle Notes
Migration to newer 4500E Series Gigabit Ethernet fiber line cards was recommended. Refurbished units were available in limited quantities through authorized refurbishment programs until the last date of support. Trade-in, take-back, and recycling options were provided to support responsible hardware lifecycle management.
