This notice explains the end-of-sale and support milestones for selected Catalyst 6500 Series components. Ordering ended on May 31, 2004, with support timelines defined through the last date of support.

Last Shipment Date The last lead time–dependent date that orders can still be shipped. August 31, 2004
End of Software Maintenance Releases Date The final date for software maintenance releases, bug fixes, and updates. May 31, 2005
End of New Service Attachment Date The final date to add this product to a new service agreement when not already covered. May 31, 2005
End of Service Contract Renewal Date The final date to extend or renew a service contract for this product. December 31, 2008
Last Date of Support The final date on which service and support are available; support ends and the product becomes obsolete. May 31, 2009
