Important Notes

StackWise Virtual

When StackWise Virtual is enabled, the platform supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, security, quality of service, multicast, monitoring, MPLS, high availability, VXLAN EVPN, and software-defined access deployments. Certain legacy features are not supported.

Unsupported Features

Some features are not supported in this release or on specific hardware combinations, including selected audio and video bridging functions, Fast PoE modes, IPsec VPN functionality, and certain MACsec use cases.

Upgrade and Maintenance Information

This release includes procedures for software image installation, ROMMON and programmable logic upgrades, supported downgrade paths, and in-service software upgrade operations.

Limitations and Troubleshooting

Known limitations include quality-of-service behavior on selected interfaces and hardware-dependent feature restrictions. Troubleshooting guidance provides operational checks and validation steps prior to redundancy events or software upgrades.
