Overview

NX‑OS Release 14.0(1) provides a comprehensive feature set for Nexus 9000 Series switches operating in ACI Mode, delivering performance, resiliency, scalability, and programmability enhancements.
This release is intended for Nexus 9000 Series switches in ACI Mode and is designed to be used with APIC Release 4.0(1).

Protocols always permitted within the fabric:

  • UDP destination port 161 (SNMP)
  • TCP source & destination port 179 (BGP)
  • OSPF
  • UDP destination ports 67/68 (BOOTP/DHCP)
  • IGMP
  • PIM
  • UDP source port 53 (DNS replies)
  • TCP source port 25 (SMTP replies)
  • TCP destination port 443 (HTTPS)
  • UDP source/destination port 123 (NTP)
