NX-OS is a data center operating system designed for scalability, resiliency, high availability, and programmability.
Release 11.0(1d) is supported only on Nexus 9000 Series switches operating in ACI mode.

Usage Guidelines
The following protocols are always permitted within the fabric and cannot be blocked using contracts:
- UDP destination port 161 (SNMP)
- TCP source and destination port 179 (BGP)
- OSPF
- UDP destination ports 67/68 (DHCP/BOOTP)
- IGMP
- PIM
- UDP source port 53 (DNS replies)
- TCP source port 25 (SMTP replies)
- TCP destination port 443 (HTTPS)
- UDP source and destination port 123 (NTP)
