Installation Instructions

Compatibility Information
- Use only supported optics defined in the optics compatibility lists.
- Third-party optics are not qualified.
- Link-level flow control is not supported on ACI-mode switches.
- Use supported direct connection or breakout options for FEX installations.
- Fabric uplink ports are not to be used as FEX fabric ports.
Usage Guidance
- Ensure required control and management protocols are allowed through contracts.
- Do not connect switches from different ACI fabrics.
- A 10G interface is required for controller (APIC) connectivity on leaf nodes.
- Validate MACsec/CloudSec compatibility where required.
- Remove legacy or incompatible optics prior to deployment.
