留学先の寮はマクタン・セブ国際空港から車で約30分くらいでした。
マボロ教会からちょっと行ったところくらいです。


 寮の状況ですが、

 ①一人部屋 エアコン・テレビ有 10㎡くらいでしょうか ベット・机・クローゼット ベランダ
 ②共同トイレ・シャワー
 ③2F男 3F女 4F男 5F食堂 各階に教室2つ 1Fに教室 各階15名*3階分
 ④学生45名
 ⑤インターネット可 1Fにパソコン4台 無線ラン可能(私はVAIO TypeT)
  ネットができるのが最大のポイント!私にとって。

 明日のスケジュールは
  1.8:30 TEST with Ruderick at the(Library) Ground Floor
2.10:20 Interview with Teacher Loi(Academic Assistant)at the (Library)
3.11:00 Orientation with Sir Moon at(Library) Ground Floor
Bring your Orientation Kit
4.12:00 Lunch at the 5th Floor, Cebustudy Dining Hall
5.13:15 Shopping and exchange of money with Sir Moon, Korean Manager
in AYALA Shopping Mall, be at the Lobby 1:00P.M
6.18:00 Distribution of Textbooks and Class Schedule, for
MARCH 10-14, 2008. See Teacher Loi at the Director's Office.


CEBUSTUDY SCHOOL POLICY

1. Upon arrival, it is the student's full responsibility to arrange immediately
your return flight schedule. The school (as a service) can only assist in terms
of giving contact numbers and exact address of ariline companies, but it
holds no responsibility over the booking, re-booking, confirmation and
cancellation, especially penalty if ever the student's failed to make the
necessary arrangements. You can ask the assistance of your teachers in
terms of formulating dialogues in English and make use of it whenever you
transact with the airline company, This way you can also practice your English.

2. The student before the start of class is required to pay the following fees
and documents:

Electrical Bill : 10 USD/month
Books : 20 USD
Deposit : 50 USD
SSP(Special Study Permit) 120 USD
3 pieces 2*2 picture
Copy of Household Register

3.Room Cleaning Service.
Housekeeping of cleaning of your room is
scheduled three times(3) a week every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
in every FLOOR. Pillow covers and blankets will be changed twice a month
or every other week, We advise that the occupant/student should also
cooperate by making your room tidy and in order. There will ve a
Request Form to be filled up whenever you ask for a cleaning schedule
depending on your available time and the acailability of our housekeeping
staffs. The room will not be cleaned unless you are available during the
Scheduled cleaning.

4.Laundry Service.
The shcool offers Free Laundry, however the school will
not be held liable or has no responsibility in terms of loss,damage or stains
incurred during the process of laundry. The student is asked to bring their
own clothing for laundry at the 5th Floor in the Dining Area and place said
clothes in the appropriate laundry basket according to your designated
floor. To avoid mixed-up it is advisable to mark your own clothes for easy
identification. It is also the student's rsponsibility to retrieve such clothes
after laundry in the designated area at the 5th floor in the Dining Area.
Moreover, if you desire to have it washed outside, some laudry station is
available just nearby for just 40 pesos or $1per 1Kg.

5. Seeking Medical Service
If a student needs immediate medical attention
due to illness he/she can ask help from any Office Staff during office hours
(8:00AM to 6:00 PM) after office hour you can ask the help from a Korean
Staff located at Room 215. For Minor Medical Emergency, the office can
provide an " over the counter medicines" for initial medications of minor
injuries, pains and illnesses. You can ask the help of any of the office staffs.


6.Visa Extension Service.
It is the sole responsibility of the student to be
mindful of his/her Visa Status and do the extension his/herself. VISA
EXTENSION RATE are as follows
1st Extension : P 2,730.00
2nd Extension : P 3.490.00
3rd : P 2,030.00
4th : P 1,520.00
5th : P 2,030.00

CRTV(Certificate of Residence for Temporary Visitor): P1,410.00
→to be collected and included during your 6th or 7th visa extendion payment
ECC(Emmigration Clearance Certifivcate) : P 500.00
→ Must be taken upon the date of your departuer after 6th visa extension or over

Failure to extend will constitute a Penalty of P 1,410.00 under immigration
Law, which will ve includeed in the Visa Extension Fee.

Processing of Visa Extension is schedule " ONCE-A-WEEK" every WEDNESDAYS ONLY

The VISA EXT. Processing will then be made by yourself if ever you fail to
submit your PASSPORT and VISA.EXT.FEE to the office ahead of time...

Student(s) who wants to avail the service must birng the nessesarry
documents like passport and exact payments EVERY MONDAYS ONLY.

If the student fails to submit document and payment on the deadline day,
the student will hold responsible to do the extension by himself/herself to the
Bureau of Immigration Office.

NOTE: The school will NOT ACCEPT EXPIRED VISA. It is best that the student
should be mindful about his/her Visa Extension Schedule as it is posted on
the VISA EXTENSION BULLETIN BOARD allowing ONE WEEK or 7 days before
the date of expiration.

7.STUDENT'S DORMITORY CONDUCT
The student is expected to behave
accordinary inside the school perimises. He/she should be considerate with
other occupants who want tranquility. So, it is a rule that banging of doors,
shouting and other acts that causes noise is NOT ALLOWED.

8. PROHIBITTED DRINKS
The school will not ALLOW students to bring and consume Beers, Wines or any kind of
alcoholic beverages inside the shcool permises. The school will not accept any excuses.
If a student violates such rule for Two times. He/she will be sent-out and contract will
immediately be terminated and there will be not be REFUNDED/

9.Curfew Hour.
For security reasons the school will strictly impose seculity measure in form of curfew.
As a responsible student you should be in before the allowed time:

Sundays to Thursdays : 12:00 Midnight
Fridays to Saturdays : 2:00 AM
Day before Holiday : 2:00

10.OUTSIDE / OVERNIGHT PERMISSION
Student is permitted to stay overnight provided the concern student must fill-in
necessary form that you can in case you can't come back on a designated time.
Included in the form is a waiver statement that the school will not be held liable
in cases of untoward incident/situation.

After the curfew hour, the student will not be allowed to get inside the school.
The gate will only be opende again at 5:00 AM.

In case like the student got into a brawl or quarrel outside the school permises,
the school will not be held responsible or liability.

11. CLASS RELATED FIELD TRIP
Some teachers may include such activity related to his/her lesson plan. If student
requests for such filed trip, the teacher will be the one to secure permit and it should
be at least three days prior to the scheduled date and it will only be allowed every FridayS
and at least wtice a month.

12.CLASS CHANGE / ADDITIONAL CLASS
The student has the option to change class or add class. However, you should also consider
that your teacher upon the start of class immediately prepare his/her lessons. It would
be advisable to change class at least one a month. In some extreme and reasonable case,
the school will allow changes only every Wednesday with Teacher LOI. The school will not
accommodate request in other days. If the student wants to change or add classes the
following rates will apply as an additional fee:

From 1:8 or 1:4 Class to 1:1 class : P 2,500.00 for Four Weeks
Additional 1:1 Class : P 6,000.00 for Four Weeks

Note: Payment first before Class Transfer Regulations....

13. ABSENCE
In the event that your teacher is absent due to emergency or other valid circumstances
the student concern will have two options:

1. You can ask a Make Up Class Coupon to the office which will allow you to set a class
with your teacher on another day, depending on your agreement or
2. A Substitute Teacher will be temporarily assigned to you as an alternate teacher
for your class on that day

Note : Student can only select one option.
IF the student is absent, there will ve NO MAKE UP CLASS.


14, MEAL SCHEDULE
Student is advised to observe meal schedules:

MEALS Regular Days Holidays,Saturday & Sundays
Breakfast 7:20~8:20    8:00~9:00
Lunch 12:00~13:00 12:00~13:00
Supper 18:00~19:00 18:00~19:00

15. ON RECEIVING PACKAGES AND CORRESPONDENCE.
If the student is expecting a package or correspondence from his/her country of origin.
It is best that the receiver's name and address must be written in ENGLISH PENMANSHIP
not in HANGLE togeter with your ENGLISH NICKNAME.

Note: The school will not be held liable in case of losses or damages, it is the
sole responsibility of the COURRIER service provider.

16. YOUR SUGGESTIOM IS VALIABLE TO US.
The school values any kind of domitory problems, issues and concerns. You can make
use of the space provided in the bulletin board(e.g broken door knob etc...) or suggestion
box located at the school's lobby. Please d tell us so that we can act on it immediately.

I n conclusion, the Management and Staf would like to advise YOU our valued ESL STUDENT to:

1.ATTEND YOUR CLASS DILIGENTY and/or REGULARY
2.REVIEW YOUR LESSONS and MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT.
3.TRY TO THINK and SPEAK IN ENGLISH ALL THE TIME
4.DO NOT THINK ABOUT MATTERS THAT CONCERNS YOU. IT WILL ONLY
GIVE YOU A LOT OF STRESS.
