Specifically I want to know what type of oil goes in the rear axle/ gearbox, or are these seperate? Also does the torque converter have its own oil supply and can it be topped up or is it a sealed unit? Is there any reason why the oil level on the transmission dipstick under the bonnet would be going down, as there are no obvious leaks? What does this dipstick measure anyway? How do you top up this oil level, I have been simply pouring oil down the dipstick hole?
If anyone can help me with answers to even some of these questions it would greatly appreciated.
