Chinese President Xi Jinping visited France, Serbia and Hungary from May 5th to 10th, 2024.
The Chinese government’s ministers including foreign minister Wang Yi accompanied him.
Obviously, a major purpose of the visit is to promote trade between China and these countries.
But, it is likely that the equally critical purpose of China is to facilitate forming a buffer zone between NATO and Russia, thereby establishing lasting peace in Europe.
China advances her Global Security Initiative. China is a peace maker.
1. Serbia
Serbia is the largest successor state of Yugoslavia, which pursued a policy of neutrality and was a founding member of the Non-Aligned Movement in 1961.

[First Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, Belgrade, Yugoslavia]
After Yugoslavia's dissolution, most of its successor states have joined NATO. But, Serbia has maintained Yugoslavia's policy of neutrality.
Therefore, Serbia can take an initiative, promote and advocate forming a buffer zone between NATO and Russia, persuading former Soviet-block countries to be neutral states.

[Chinese President Xi Jinping and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić]
China can suggest and let Serbia understand to do so because forming a buffer zone will objectively best serve Serbia's security.
China can praise Serbia's initiative and support Serbia diplomatically and economically because peaceful Europe is in the interest of China.
2. Hungary
Hungary joined NATO in 1999, believing joining NATO would enhance its security. However, due to NATO's eastward expansion and breaking out of Ukraine War, Hungary is beginning to notice its membership of NATO doesn't necessarily guarantee its security. Rather, NATO, under the US's commanding behaviors, tends to use former Soviet-block countries as proxies to attack Russia one after another.

[Chinese President Xi Jinping and Hungarian Prime MinisterViktor Orbán ]
Therefore, for the purpose of enhancing its security, Hungary should rather withdraw from NATO and declare neutrality to form a buffer zone between NATO and Russia together with Serbia and other former Soviet-block countries. China can suggest and let Hungary understand to do so because forming a buffer zone will objectively best serve Hungary's security.
Although Hungary is a member of EU, EU tends to criticize Hungary, alleging Hungary's shortcoming on "democracy", and major countries of EU tend to look down Hungary and try to use it as a sub-contractor.
In contrast, China has equal win-win relations with Hungary. China's CATL, the world's largest EV battery company, is to build Europe's largest battery cell plant in Hungary. [1]

Also, as Hungary is located in the center of Europe and Budapest–Belgrade–Skopje–Athens high speed railway is to be built by China, Hungary will play a role of major logistical hub for the trade between EU and China.

[Budapest–Belgrade–Skopje–Athens railway]
China will praise Hungary's forming a buffer zone and support Hungary diplomatically and economically even more because peaceful Europe is in the interest of China.
After Hungary withdraws NATO and declares neutrality, Croatia, Slovakia and Bulgaria, all of which are members of both NATO and EU, should follow the example of Hungary by withdrawing from NATO and declaring neutrality to form a buffer zone between NATO and Russia because that will objectively best enhance security of them and Europe.

[Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria should form a buffer zone between NATO and Russia]
Declaring neutrality and forming a buffer zone, Croatia, Slovakia and Bulgaria will be connected to Budapest–Belgrade–Skopje–Athens high speed railway and prosper through the trade with China.
3. France
France, a major member of both NATO and EU, has been supporting Ukraine since Ukraine War broke out in 2022. However, as the West's supply of weapons and ammunitions are diminishing and Russia firmly secures Russian-speaking regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kherson and Crimea, France is beginning to feel concern over its own security.
Ukraine War has proved that Russia's weapons are superior to NATO's weapons and that NATO countries don't have capacity to manufacture sufficient amount of weapons and ammunitions compared to Russia whose capacity to manufacture weapons and ammunitions is enormous.
Ukraine War is actually a war between NATO and Russia, NATO supplying weapons and ammunitions and using Ukraine soldiers as human bullets. But, NATO could not win. Rather, if Russia launches a major offensive in the coming summer, Ukraine defense line would collapse as Ukraine has few weapons and ammunitions and Ukraine soldiers are little boys and old men. Kiev would fall, and Zelensky would be forced to exile.

[Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron]
Under such circumstances, France's President Emmanuel Macron mentioned a possibility of sending France's troops to Ukraine. Germany mentioned the possibility of making it nuclear-armed. [2][3]
However, even if France sends troops to Ukraine and Germany arms itself with nuclear weapons, it will never guarantee Europe's peace. If NATO and Russia start direct engagement of war, Russia would use tactical nuclear weapons without hesitation. Europe would be ruined.
Therefore, instead, France should abandon its bellicose attitude and rather take an initiative to form a buffer zone between NATO and Russia, persuading other European countries. China can suggest and let France understand to do so because forming a buffer zone will objectively best serve France's security.
The US would strongly oppose the idea of forming a buffer zone between NATO and Russia because conflicts and unstable situations are delicious foods for the US's military industrial complex.
France should become independent of the US. Europe should become independent of the US.
China will praise France's initiative to form a buffer zone and support France diplomatically and economically even more because peaceful Europe is in the interest of China.
4. Peace in Ukraine, Peace in Europe
Ukraine must admit a fact of the reality that it has been defeated. Ukraine must admit that Russian speaking regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kherson and Crimea belong to Russia because Ukraine lost its sovereignty over these regions when it started mass-murder there and people of these regions expressed their willingness to belong to Russia through referendums.

[Russian speaking regions of Ukraine]
Ukraine should become a neutral state to form a buffer zone between NATO and Russia.
China is the only Great Power that has provided a peace plan on Ukraine. Ukraine and Europe should accept China's peace plan, with or without the US's consent.
Europe's peace can be achieved only by Europe itself not by the US. Europe must realize that NATO eastward expansion and antagonizing Russia only resulted in enabling the US to profiteer at the sacrifice of blood of European people.
Otherwise, Europe would see their cities and lands scorched and ruined like a hell once again and hundreds of millions of people die.
Thank you.
